Vermont Amber IS Toffee, Reimagined! Founded in 2015, this woman-owned company makes Award Winning toffee in almost a dozen unique, certified organic flavors, in a brand new, up to the minute facility in re-vitalized downtown White River Junction, Vermont. We are small, but growing and aiming for the top. Farmer's Markets, wholesale accounts, online, we sell toffee wherever you want to be, and we want you to join us!
White River Junction Vermont is in Central Vermont. Close to skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, kayaking and basically anything outdoors. There is always time to get outside and play.
We are also home of Northern Stage, a professional theater company, and Dartmouth College. We have River Roost beer in our back yard, and LOTS of other small producers, craft brewers, distilleries, cheesemakers, jam makers, and chocolatiers. Artisanal, describes Vermont and White River Junction. Job description We seek someone to stick with us as we grow! Toffee is our business and we want to share. Cooking, baking pastry experience is great, but not required. Willingness to learn is required. Can you blend, measure, package and label products? Can you chat with folks at a farmer's market? Can you work as a team to create lots of products in a short amount of time? Can you stand the heat when needed and not be afraid of fire when necessary? Can you create your own fun ? Then we'd like to talk with you.
This job is part-time with an ability to grow to full time. Schedule can be flexible to optimize abilities, but generally Wednesday - Saturday. Our facility has plenty of parking and is on the bus line for transportation.
