The Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market, at our new property, The Perry Lane Hotel, in Savannah seeks an experienced Sous Chef with a heart for service. The Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market is an "American brasserie with a Southern accent!" You will be responsible for creating exceptional, personalized guest experiences at one of our newest Sage branded concepts. Our successful candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit that makes the Sage Restaurant Group's one-of-a-kind brands come to life. Job descriptionManage the kitchen staff in the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for the hotel's restaurant(s) and room service in a safe, sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations and achieves profitable, competitive, quality products. Responsible for managing the daily operations of the kitchen. Monitors food and labor costs. Assists Executive Chef in creating and implementing menu and production changes.
