Blue Circle Foods is a small and thriving international seafood company based in Washington D.C. We work to bring more sustainably farm raised & wild species to our consumers by developing delicious seafood products. 

We are a powerhouse team managing a large volume for customers globally, and looking for someone who can take on a lot of responsibility immediately. There will be significant opportunity for growth and promotion.

Your key task will be to organize the logistics & distribution of perishable goods, to ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and to work closely with our technical systems expert in process improvements.
 

Main responsibilities include:

• In-depth understanding of ERP and CRM systems
• Knowledge of building databases
• Liaison with buyers, customers and distributors
• Organizing shipments
• Coordinating drivers and vehicles
• Negotiating contracts
• Developing and confirming schedules
• Planning for and negotiating technical difficulties
• Preparing paperwork for regulatory bodies
• Inventory management
• Perform customer service

Requirements:

• Based in the Washington D.C. area
• 2-3 years of operational experience
• Takes initiative, ambitious, and willing to go the extra mile
• Flexible hours, if needed
• Salary based on experience
• Bonus points if you can speak multiple languages
