Job Description

This is a hands-on role as we are a small office, and the position is responsible for wide-ranging duties.  Day to day includes planning and analysis, fielding phone calls, responding to emails, inventory management and keeping an eye on the big picture. We need an energetic, detail oriented, and flexible individual who thrives on variety and loves food. This individual must be able to successfully run the day to day operations, while thinking of what processes and systems will be needed in the future to meet the needs of future growth.

Job Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to support business development efforts
  • Maintain superior product knowledge to assist in customer support
  • Act as inside sales support by sending out price quotes, product information, samples; generate marketing material and manage responses
  • Assist outside team when they are on the road
  • Order processing, Purchase Order review and confirmation, coordinating pickups and deliveries, issuing returns or credits, invoicing, data entry and analysis
  • Oversee our shipping companies, warehouses and deliveries to ensure timely and affordable delivery of product
  • Coordinate closely with customers in regards to purchase orders, delivery status, pricing and delivery issues, out of stocks (if applicable) in order to ensure highest levels of customer service
  • Manage inventory through online tools with our local warehouse storage facilities
  • Update customer database (ACT) daily with notes and activities
  • Serve as office manager and maintain office supplies; coordinate services, expenses and billing
  • Other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.

 

Employment Specifics

8:00-5:00 Monday – Friday with occasional extended hours as needed
