ABOUT THE BREAD BAKER POSITION: You'll be joining our team of passionate bakers dedicated to producing high quality, naturally leavened, handcrafted bread.
Applicant must:
• Have a strong understanding of, and appreciation for, fermentation and the role it plays in the dough's development and flavor.
• Able to short / gently dough mix with long fermentation, incorporating folding for development
• Able to confidently work with high hydration doughs ( from mixing to shaping)
• Efficient and consistent hand shaping techniques (for a variety of bread shapes)
• Experience baking in a steam injected deck oven.
ABOUT THE PASTRY CHEF POSITION: You'll be joining our team of passionate pastry chefs dedicated to producing high quality, from scratch pastries.
Applicant must:
• Have experience with hand laminated dough (from start to finish), including croissant and puff pastry.
• From scratch breakfast pastry experience. ( cinn rolls, scones, etc.)
• Desire to learn artisan bread making techniques.
These are both full time positions & you'll work a combination of early morning & afternoon shifts. You're able to receive constructive criticism and continually strive to improve. We are a collaborative team - if you have a great idea for a new product, we want to hear it!
Compensation this position is : hourly, varies DOE, $14.00 - $20.00 Application instructions
