Job Description

BRAMI, a VC-backed healthy snack startup, is looking for a highly motivated Area Sales Manager for the greater NYC market. Opportunity to get in on the ground floor of high-growth CPG startup that’s helping make the world a better place. Play a leading role on a team of highly motivated entrepreneurs. You will be fully immersed in all of the exciting challenges of a high growth food startup: on the ground, in the regional market, and as an integral part of the national strategy. We expect our Sales Managers to be the best of the best. The job is demanding, and initially the job will involve a lot of in-store selling, but you will be supported every step of the way. You will learn and grow while earning a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:

  • Run product-demonstrations in grocery stores to sell product directly to consumers while building strong relationships with store managers
  • Take the initiative to win BRAMI new accounts
  • Build relationships with and support Broker & Distributor partners in winning new accounts and supporting existing accounts
  • Build relationships with accounts, ensuring that BRAMI has the best possible in-store placements, is priced appropriately, being re-ordered on time, merchandised in the best possible way and generally promoted by store
  • Ensure that BRAMI is meeting (and hopefully exceeding) its performance and sales goals
  • Build and manage team of brand ambassadors to execute field marketing activities

Requirements:

  • A tenacious, enterprising, and driven (Type A) personality
  • Outgoing with strong interpersonal skills
  • Sales experience (Field Sales & Merchandising in Natural Foods a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • The desire to take ownership of problems and find creative solutions
  • A passion for products that improve people’s lives
  • Health and wellness oriented
  • A desire to be a part of a young, fast-growing company
  • Proficient in MS Office with the ability to communicate effectively both with text, charts and presentations to promote sales
  • A clean driving record with the ability to work effectively while mobile

Compensation: Base salary, equity options, health-care, 401k, plus commission opportunity
