Established New York City Catering and Events Company is seeking a self-driven, results-oriented catering and events coordinator with a passion for the food industry to join their growing events team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and interact with clients and vendors
- Input all client’s orders using internal software Caterease
- Assist with the organization of events; menu development, proposals, contracts, deposits, rentals, staffing, delivery and set up
- Assist sales managers on client meetings and prepare presentations when necessary
- Attend all client meetings for large events as requested by supervisor; site inspections; rental check ins, production meetings and execution of event
- Nurture relationships with clients as directed by supervisor; phone calls, emails and client meetings
- Accompany delivery team on orders when requested by supervisor
- Performs additional tasks/projects as assigned by manager(s)
