Company description HAVEN'S KITCHEN is a recreational cooking school, café and event space with the mission to inspire, teach, and support confident, creative, conscious cooking and eating. Job description Seeking a friendly, enthusiastic teaching assistant to join the Haven's Kitchen team. We teach a wide range of recreational cooking and cocktail classes with our rotating in-house teachers as well as special guest teachers. 

Responsibilities include:

• setting up ingredients and equipment for classes
• assisting and interacting with students and teachers during hands-on component
• helping with service during the shared meal at the classes' end
• breaking down at end of class 

Desired qualifications: 

• Passion for food and cooking 
• Experience cooking in a restaurant setting or comparable experience 
• Engaging, hospitable and pleasant demeanor
