Through this single source, it is our aim to make them more available to chefs in restaurants and food service, and to the public via retail specialty stores.

Representing more than 55 family and co-op producers, The Great American Cheese Collection is the single largest and finest source for America's cheeses.  From the country sides of California, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Oregon, North Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington and Wisconsin. The Great American Cheese Collection has gathered an impressive array of 290 farmstead and artisan cheeses.

These are the best that America has to offer and are rated by many chefs to be among the finest in the world. And, indeed, many of these cheeses are World Championship winners.

Job description This your chance to learn and work with America's finest artisan cheeses. Your job would entail caring for these very special cheeses, filling and packing orders. Since we are a small company, we all pitch in with daily house cleaning chores. You will be working in our cheese aging room at 38 degrees. Working hours is from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You must be reliable, punctual and have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.  On the job training is available.
