The Luke's Lobster Story
Luke's Lobster launched in 2009 in the heart of NYC's East Village. The vision of Luke Holden, Luke's Lobster brings the ocean to the plate in a rustic, relaxed seafood shack setting that celebrates its founder's native Maine. A lobsterman in his youth, Luke’s passion stems from his family’s 40-plus years in the industry. Luke's Lobster is anchored by a commitment to serve sustainable, traceable seafood. The organization champions its purveyors, and takes great pride in an absolute ability to trace every pound of seafood we serve back to the harbor where it was sustainably caught and to support fishermen we know and trust. The modest menu highlights superior ingredients, with fresh lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls at the helm, along with a selection of chowders and bisques, as well as seasonal items and premium craft beverages. Thanks to a wonderful team and incredible response from guests, Luke's Lobster has grown beyond New York City, with homes in DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Vegas, Boston, Miami, Maine, and Philadelphia. Luke's has been featured everywhere from The TODAY Show and New York Times to The Food Network, GQ, Inc., and Forbes.Luke's Lobster is a participant of E-Verify.
