HFB was created in 2012 to serve the local community. We strive to serve the best food possible at a fair price, using the best ingredients from the best purveyors in NYC. We pride ourselves in making food the old fashion way, adding love along the way. Our casual atmosphere is designed to get to know your neighbor, share a drink and make new friends. Our food is prepared every day in-house. Produce, meats and fish are delivered daily and never frozen.  All sauces and dressings are homemade.  Where possible we offer organic and free range poultry, beef and pork.  Our homemade food is one of the reasons we see most of our customers several times a week, sometimes even several times a day.  We begin with the best product, make everything with love and take pride in our homemade food supplied  by the best purveyors in New York City.

Job description Small team and great food seeks a great line cook. Applicants must have good knife skills, be able to work well with others, be willing to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities. Must have problem solving skills and a desire to make every plate the best it can be. Be a team leader!

--NYC Food Protection preferred but we will help the right candidate get one if you don't have it.
--Experience with BRUNCH needed. Day and Night shifts available.
--MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS, overtime available
