Job Description

The Order Processing Coordinator will be responsible for processing customer purchase orders, managing fulfillment, and providing customer service to our wholesalers. Candidate must a highly organized self-starter with verbal and written communication skills. The right candidate will work closely with the operations and logistics departments, as well as the sales team. Experience in CPG and logistics is a bonus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily orders received via EDI, email, and fax
  • Maintain customer records & shipping information
  • Act as the point-person for the logistics team and 3PL
  • Confirm accuracy of purchase orders and acknowledge receipt to customers
  • Communicate orders to the logistics team to ensure accurate fulfillment
  • Research and dispute receiving errors by our customers
  • Address changes in lead times, order quantities and distribute tracking information as needed
  • Keep a pulse on in-stock inventory
  • Provide customer support to ensure satisfaction
  • Monitor Walmart routing and track status of the week’s fulfillment progress
  • Handle customer complaints and damaged product or unfilled orders
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and work flow
  • Keep sales director informed of any customer issues
  • Generate PO updates to keep the team informed of daily orders
  • Organize shipments from the primary warehouse to the secondary warehouse for sample-stock
  • Manage inbound tracking and international purchases 

Qualifications/Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail Oriented
  • Strong work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 2 to 3 years of operations or customer service experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
