Wythe Hotel Events caters a wide variety of occasions in our multiple event spaces at the Hotel. From weddings to corporate workshops to private parties, the menus are creative and reflective of our sustainable and local food philosophy.
Executive Chef Christina Lecki serves a thoughtful and creative menu showcasing our whole animal butchery program and produce from local farmers while focusing on wood-fired cooking. Our natural wine list and cocktails crafted with locally manufactured spirits echos our commitment to sustainability and responsibly made products.
We are seeking an Event Captain to join our team at Wythe Hotel Events.
The Event Captain is a part time, per diem position. They will lead their Event team in service, while working closely with our Event Coordinators and Back of House. While there is not a set schedule, there are hours available every week as dictated by the Events taking place at the Hotel.
Our ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, plus excellent communication and people skills. They thrive in a fast paced and energetic environment, and are always eager for the next challenge. They have experience in the Event and Catering world, and can easily take ownership of their project and staff. They are self motivated, organized and hold themselves and their staff to the highest of standards.
You must be comfortable being on your feet for at least 8 hours, comfortable with stairs, and be capable of lifting/ carrying at least 20lb.
Compensation is a competitive hourly wage, plus tips.
