Farmscape is the largest urban farming company in the country. Since 2008, we’ve designed and installed over 700 projects with our talented team of landscape architects, contractors and urban farmers. We grow food for Fortune 500 companies, Michelin-starred chefs, and World Series champions. 

Human Resources:

• Handle onboarding of new employees.
• Administer benefits offered to staff.
• Prepare job postings in collaboration with supervisors, post jobs, screen candidates.
• General HR administration; organize trainings for managers, ensure employee reviews happen regularly and are filed; receive and address concerns from staff.
• Regularly review benefits and workplace experience; implement improvements as opportunities arise.

Accounting, Finance & Admin:

• Expense entry via QuickBooks; tracking by location, department, customer.
• Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare and submit bi-monthly payrolls.  
• Create audits of installation projects.
• Manage time tracking systems; prepare regular reports for maintenance managers, broken out by staff-member and project.
• Prepare departmental budgets on a monthly basis & circulate to managers.

Admin:

• Manage customer compliance; procure insurance certificates as required for projects.
• Various administrative and clerical tasks, as needed.

Other:

• Periodic work travel to our Oakland office.
