- Handling customer enquiries and complaints
- Taking reservations/Working Host/Hostess Stand
- Greeting and advising customers
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety legislation/guidelines
- Keeping statistical and financial records to share with the General Manager and Ownership
- Handling administration and closing paperwork
- Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives
- Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
Position Requirements
- Upscale full-service restaurant Experience
- Experience with opening restaurants is highly valued
- Experience with creating and executing training material
- Experience managing 10+ employees
- Hold a NYC Food Protection Certificate
- Open availability day or night shifts
- Experience with Closing Responsibilities is a must for this position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
