Job description
Requirements are:
Packagers are responsible for the hand packaging of all Mt. Townsend Creamery cheese while meeting all safety, food safety and quality standards of operation.
Core accountabilities include:
- Hand wrapping of all Mt. Townsend Creamery cheese.
- Operation of vacuum sealer and shrink tunnel.
- Cleaning and sanitation of packaging room and pre-wrap cooler.
- Inventory of all batches.
- Quality assurance for all cheese batches.
Requirements are:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to visually inspect cheese for quality control.
- Willing to remove all exposed jewelry while working.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and early morning.
- Be free of any communicable disease of special concern for the food service industry.
