Greene Grape Provisions seeks an enthusiastic individual to lead our Catering and Events program. The ideal candidate has previous catering experience, and a passion for customer service. The Catering program showcases the unique offerings provided by our in-house kitchen, whole animal butcher, and full service cheese counter. The Events program is run at our small yet bustling cafe and ranges from private buyouts to public events with a lot of new growth opportunity. The Catering and Events Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is excited to get to know the many members of our diverse team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely correspondence with all clients, provide exceptional customer service, and process payment in a timely fashion
• Generate all materials related to order fulfillment using the WooCommerce platform, and perform basic upkeep on our Wordpress catering website 
• Maintain high levels of communication with managers across departments
• Manage events calendar including coordination of private buyouts, and public programming at our bar/cafe
• Work with Marketing department to create new ideas for lead generation and event announcements

Requirements

• Previous experience in catering, event planning, or other relevant job experience
• Demonstrated interest in sustainable food systems
• Computer savvy and able to handle high volume of email correspondence
• Must be able to provide flexibility with schedule, some nights, weekends and/or holidays
