Job description Cream Co. Meats is seeking a Production Manager who is excited to grow with us. 

Job purpose: 
To be the driving force behind Cream Co.'s meat processing department. Create a dynamic, profitable and efficient meat processing business with a core competency of efficient repeatable execution, along with impeccable product quality. To lead a team effort that is successful in creating artisan quality wholesale and retail meat products. To devise and implement new efficiencies and systems to improve the customer offering while increasing profitability and keeping labor and other overhead costs low.

• Processing - carcass fabrication, portion cutting, meat grinding. 
• Packaging - packaging and labeling of all product flowing through the system.
• Order fulfillment - ability to accurately fulfill orders and complete the associated production paperwork completely.
• Detailed -- Detailed quality centered around discipline.
• Mechanical -- Ability to fix and maintain plant equipment and infrastructure. Ability to diagnose a problem to know when a specialist is needed.


Requirements: 
• 3+ years of experience in warehousing, inventory control, FIFO, cold chain supply, HACCP management, and food handling
• Experience using warehouse equipment, pallet jacks, forklifts etc. 
• Ability to thrive in a bi-lingual environment 
• A passion for sustainable agriculture 
• A High School Diploma or GED 
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Experience in the meat or other perishable industry, working in cold environments, etc.

Compensation:
• Base Salary: DOE

• 10 business days (2 weeks) paid vacation
