We are looking for someone upbeat and friendly to fill our Customer Sales role. Interest and experience in specialty coffee preferred. We love coffee, so you should too!

 

As an ambassador of Toby’s Estate Coffee, Customer Sales is the friendly voice on the telephone with our wholesale accounts, selling our coffees to the many cafes, restaurants, hotels, and companies that we work with. Through comprehensive and proactive support, Customer Sales ensures problems are swiftly solved. Customer Sales is the champion of the Sales group that our accounts look forward to calling for all their roasted coffee and support service needs. The sales team can always rely on to lend a hand.
 

This is an entry-level role.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our wholesale customers to grow accounts
  • Take coffee orders and encourage accounts to diversify their menus and try new coffees
  • Schedule and manage wholesale education and service tech calendars
  • Communicate and report to sales team with regard to order history, making recommendations to increase sales volumes
  • Be a point of contact for all wholesale accounts including setting up new accounts, communicating roast/delivery logistics, financing and credit applications, account file maintenance
  • General admin: answering the phone, office supply inventory, filing, data entry and other tasks as directed

 

Qualifications:

  • Deep love of coffee
  • Experience working in an office environment preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly phone manner
  • Outgoing, well-organized, able to trouble-shoot and problem solve

 

Key details of the role:

  • Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm or as needed (40 hours per week with one hour for lunch)
  • 10 days Paid Time Off, which increases with tenure
