Campers have performing opportunities in wind bands, orchestras, choirs, rock bands, combos, chamber music, private lessons, a jazz choir and musical theater. Cook for musical children and staff in beautiful Sweden, Maine!! (Room and board provided.)
Camp Encore/Coda has an opening for a Chef Manager/Cook. Our food service operation feeds between 170 and 200 campers and staff at each meal. We serve buffet style with hot entrees at every meal as well as a robust salad bar and a sandwich/cold cut station. We offer a creative menu of made from scratch meals.
The responsibilities for the position include: preparing the menu, cooking, ordering, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for food preparation, accommodating dietary and food allergies, training and supervising kitchen and dining hall staff. Since we are a seasonal operation the Chef Manager/Cook will supervise the set up and shut down of our kitchen and dining hall facility. Current safe serve manager certification by June 1, 2019 and computer skills are required. Candidates with large scale institutional food production preferred.
