JOB OVERVIEW

The Counter Staff provides the customers with an exceptional experience by implementing Milk Bar’s standards of service, product quality and cleanliness. They live our mission in every customer interaction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all Milk Bar standards and ensure that you are serving guests the highest quality of products, that you are delivering the best customer experience, and that you are living our mission in every customer interaction.
• Constantly communicate with other co-workers, and other departments of Milk Bar via phone and emails in particular.
• Comply with an DOH regulations and Milk Bar standards when performing cleaning tasks and when preparing food and beverages.
• Operate a touchscreen POS, and carefully & efficient handle money transactions.
• Relay menu knowledge and company information to customers via phone and in person.
• Troubleshoot with any and all product and equipment issues that occur on-site.
• Manage time efficiently on shift by following checklists and prompts from previous shifts.
• Work closely with the FOH team-members, giving constructive feedback to the team, and always thinking about improvements.
• Ensure storefront, FOH and BOH are clean and appealing to guests.
• Constantly organize, and maintain customer areas and front of house area.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• 1-2 years in a food industry/customer service facing job preferred.
• Personable and enjoys working with the guests.
• Passion for food, sweets and coffee - big plus.
• Fully understand the Milk Bar ethos and serve as a brand ambassador, both internally and externally, making people’s lives a little sweeter.
