Company description We are a diversified family farm, with our two main ventures being our FarmShare (elsewhere called CSA) serving 115 families, and pasture-raised animals, including laying hens, meat chickens, turkeys, and pigs, all fed organic grain. Our focus is on feeding the soil and creating a holistic farm ecosystem. We are committed to feeding our community, both physically through the fruits of the soil, and socially through education and connection with each other and with their food.

Internship description Our diverse 175-acre farm includes 10 acres of organic vegetables and flowers, pasture-raised and organic-fed chickens, turkeys, and pork, winter holiday decor, and maple syrup. Our products are marketed through our CSA, a farm-stand, and year-round at the Troy Waterfront Farmers' Market. We are interested in promoting sustainable agriculture through educational school tours and the CRAFT Program, and showing others how a small diverse family farm can become a successful reality.

Our farm is located 30 min. away from Albany, NY, Bennington, VT, and Williamstown, MA. For your days off, our area offers many outdoor and cultural activities.
