A little more about Marché Restaurant Group
Marché Restaurant Group currently includes Marché & Le Bar, the restaurant & bar in the 5th Street Public Market, Marché Museum Café, a casual café in the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at the University of Oregon, Marché Catering, and Provisions Market Hall.

The restaurant opened in August of 1998, the museum café opened in January of 2005, and Marché Provisions opened in October of 2006. We’ve been catering since the beginning and we expanded our catering program in 2004 and again with the opening of Marché Provisions in 2006. Marché added Le Bar to the mix in 2011, and Provisions expanded to a new level to become Provisions Market Hall in 2015. Each part of Marché has a slightly different style, but they all adhere to our core philosophy:

and the bountiful Pacific Northwest
with locally grown and gathered food,
prepared with care and served
in a lively and elegant atmosphere.

We take our name from the French word for market — a word that describes not only our location in Eugene’s bustling 5th Street Public Market, but also our philosophy of market-to-table cooking. The menu is based on the foods you would find at a farmers market — fresh, seasonal, and regional. We are committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, so our menu evolves as we move through the seasons of the year. Our culinary technique is French-based — intensely flavored and simply but beautifully presented.

Managing partner Stephanie Pearl Kimmel, the founding chef of Marché, has been a champion of local, seasonal food in this region for more than forty years—and she’s recognized around the country as a pioneer. Stephanie has been featured in national and international press, lauded by her peers around the world and stands with the best of the best in her field.

We’re proud to continue that effort in everything we do, whether it’s a casual lunch and dessert at Provisions, a great cup of coffee at the Museum Café, a simple catered hors d’oeuvre reception, or a leisurely, lovely dinner at the restaurant.

Marche is looking for a gracious, knowledgeable, experienced floor manager to join our team. We are passionate about hospitality, food and wine, dedicated to celebrating region and season with elegance and care--if you share our love for local food and wine, and have fine dining service and management experience, we'd like to meet you.

Food and wine knowledge is a must, ability to work a flexible schedule and a positive, collaborative attitude is crucial. We'll provide a professional atmosphere, lots opportunity for growth and a great team to work with.
