ABOUT THE POSITION
As LuckyBolt's Pastry Assistant you'll work under a Master Pastry Chef, who has decades of experience, and learn how to produce a variety of world-class pastries that range from healthy, indulgent, gluten-free, to vegan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Produce batches of pastries, including cookies, brownies, cakes, bars, crackers, granola, etc.
  • Follow recipes and scale ingredients with precision
  • Use a commercial mixer and oven.
  • Stock pastry case.
  • Help develop new menu items.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Follow standard food safety procedures.
WHAT WE REQUIRE:
  • 6 months experience in a commercial kitchen.
  • Experience with high-volume food production.
  • Deep knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Proficiency with commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Must pay close attention to all the little detials and also maintain a good sense of humor
  • Ability to appreciate a wide variety of music
  • Comfortable using a computer and other modern technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional appearance and good hygiene
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. comfortably
  • Associate Degree in Culinary Arts is a plus (Bachelor's preferred)
Compensation this position is : hourly, varies DOE, $12.00 - $14.00 Application instructions
