ChopChop Family, the publisher of ChopChop Magazine: The Fun Cooking Magazine for Families, ChopChop Sprout and Seasoned seeks a part-time person to help with office duties 20 – 30 hours at our office in Belmont MA.

Who we are:  ChopChop Family is a fun, growing non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of families by inspiring and teaching them to eat real food together while having fun and learning essential skills for a full life.


Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist Founder
  • Assist Marketing Director and Test Kitchen Manager (especially Eventbrite)
  • Oversee Kids Advisory Board (communicate with members, set meeting agenda, set up quarterly Zoom conferences, assign recipes)
  • Assist with mailings, scheduling, and special events.
  • Run office errands (post office/bank/office supplies)
  • Manage, order and troubleshoot office supplies and equipment.  
  • Track, research and respond to customer inquiries and provide customer service online and on the telephone, including processing requests.
  • Order promotional material, set up systems and schedules for managing other office tasks.  
  • Data entry as needed, including adding recipes to website

Assistant to Founder Responsibilities:

  • Attend meetings
  • Follow-up on meetings and calls
  • Schedule travel
  • Research potential clients

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of office work experience
  • Be curious and open to new learning
  • Able to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills required (Word, Excel)
  • Be detail-oriented, highly organized and flexible
  • Data entry skills
  • Have own transportation

This position will report to the Founder.
