Job descriptionBarbuto is seeking an Executive Chef
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, detail oriented and a team player
Requirements:
5 years’ experience in a high volume restaurant setting (3 years’ experience in management role)
The ability to communicate, lead and manage a team of 35+ staff members
Familiarity with seasonal ingredients and Italian cuisine
Food handlers certificate
Responsibilities:
Menu development and creation
Hiring & firing responsibilities
Regularly work the line or expo station
Food cost management
Weekly scheduling of kitchen staff
Daily production and ordering
Setting the standards and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen
Training and educating the staff
Manage and motivate with a professional and positive attitude
