This position is ideal for a tech savvy individual who enjoys working with data, likes physical work and is looking to grow into a supervisor/manager position.

This position is all about the last mile of the food system. The part that connects the customer to the food. It is broken and we are trying to fix it.

As the Operations and Fleet Assistant, you will provide overall support to business operations with main focus on delivery logistics including preparing daily routes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare routes that are efficient, balanced to guarantee fulfillment within agreed upon time frame.
  • Fill in and drive whenever necessary.
  • Be available to speak with drivers and management to resolve driver/van/delivery issues until all vehicles have returned to warehouse.
  • Investigate and resolve any delivery issues.
  • Manage maintenance of the vehicles and coordinate timely repairs.
  • Process and audit address and delivery changes.
  • Interface with insurance company in the event of accidents.
  • Process and respond to delivery area inquiries.
  • Process and manage customer & company related assets such as delivery bins, keys and codes.
  • Work with customer service, sales and marketing to increase sales through our drivers.
  • Encourage staff, peers and colleagues to compost, recycle and minimize idling whenever possible.
  • Perform other office and warehouse duties as assigned.
