Arrowine & Cheese is the Northern Virginia's premier cheese and wine shop!

We are a “neighborhood” store with a national reputation. We taste between 400 and 600 wines a month to select the best wines and wine values for our customers. We travel to the wineries to hand select what we sell. We carry hard-to-find wines with character and uniqueness that speak of the place that they were grown in. We are about wines that offer “real value.”  We support artisan winemakers, organic agriculture, and hand harvesting.

Retail Cheese and Charcuterie Manager

Are you passionate about cheese, charcuterie and gourmet foods? We are looking for a dynamic person to fill managerial positions at our Arrowine & Cheese location in Virginia.

Qualifications:

• Candidate should possess at least 2-5 years of industry experience preferably in retail
• Possess extensive knowledge of cheese, charcuterie, and gourmet foods
• Love to work independently
• Strive to exceed customer expectations and provide exceptional service
• Driven to exceed financial goals and manage expenses
• Strong writing skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Purchase, manage and maintain inventory according to guidelines
• Have excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and extremely organized
• Self-motivated, can multi-task, creative and confidently make sound decisions under pressure
• Able to organize intriguing special events, tastings, and classes
• Understand all aspects of products sold and discuss in terms of features and benefits
• Availability on weekends, evenings and Holidays
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
