Job description Flour Shop is looking for a new commissary manager to oversee production of all products. If you love baking, making, sweets and want to grow with a company, then this could be your dream job!

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
 
  • Knowledge/Understanding: You know the baking processes from start-to-finish. You must be able to follow recipes and understand how bulk production works. You will need to know how to design and oversee production in the most efficient ways and have knowledge of baking equipment.
 
  • Cost Management: You can cost recipes and keep costs under control in the commissary. This means limiting waste and managing labor.
 
  • Order Management and Distribution: You must understand how to manage product in physical locations and online orders. You will need to organize a production schedule based on online and custom orders.
 
  • Food Safety / Production: You must have a CA Food Handlers Managers License and understand food safety standards. You must be able to track inventory properly and practice FIFO.
 
  • Personnel Management: You will need to schedule shifts and set schedules. Managing people in the kitchen is a big part of the job. Leadership skills are a must!

EXPERIENCE / AVAILABILITY:
  • 5+ years experience in a commercial/production kitchen (must)
  • 2+ years in a kitchen management position
  • Food handler's certification (must)
  • Open-availability - Weekdays, weekends, holidays, and occasional nights
Compensation this position is : salaried, varies DOE, $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 Application instructions
