Job description We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team and lead Metta in downtown Brooklyn. We are committed to sustainable sourcing, zero waste, low intervention wines, small-batch spirits, local beers, and exciting menu offerings. Please see below for general requirements of the position. - Meet restaurant financial objectives by maintaining healthy COG & labor percentages while developing and implementing strategies to increase guest average.
- Lead FOH & BOH team with a positive, informed agenda.
- Hire and train FOH team members. Maintain positive team morale.
- Complete payroll each week with assistance from accounting team.
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy facility by enforcing sanitation standards.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the industry and staying up to date on wine education.
- Improve and maintain service standards.
- Monitor social media and reservation accounts.
- Update website with new menus.
