The Skinny Pancake is hiring a Bar Manager at our BTV Airport location!
This is an exciting position for anyone who loves to celebrate Vermont local food and beverage.
Knowledge and passion for the food and beverage industry are a must, and previous experience behind the bar is required. Management experience preferred. We are looking for an awesome, upbeat leader for this role who can multi-task in a busy airport environment, while also maintaining a friendly disposition interacting with travelers.
Back-end managerial duties include ordering, inventory, recipe costing, pricing, seasonal menu development, as well as strong organizational skills. The Bar Manager will also be responsible for distributor and brewery/winery/cidery relationships, managing invoices & transfers, and responsible for interviewing, training, coaching and developing their team. The Bar Manager also works closely with the General Manager and Management Team to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and a smooth running food service operation across the airport.
Since this position is in an secure Airport, this person must be organized and responsible and able to adhere to all TSA and BTV Airport guidelines. In addition, this individual will need to professionally interact with BTV and TSA staff, as well as pass a background check.
