The duties of the Wholesale Coordinator will be to manage and expand the existing wholesale accounts of Collective Harvest, establish new accounts, and to work with customers on special events where wholesale veggies are needed. The Wholesale Coordinator will also work closely with the Collective Harvest General Manager to assist with all aspects of the CSA including obtaining wholesale vegetable needs for the CSA, cleaning, staffing pick up locations, and participating in special events. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude above all, and committed to expanding local agricultural.
Managing of the current wholesale accounts includes and is not limited to:
- Manage relationships with key wholesale accounts
- Targeting and securing new accounts
- Email customers product availability
- Communicate with farmers about current product availability
- Respond to customer questions via text, phone, or email
- Order vegetables from farmers in a timely and equitable manner
- Check-in farmer deliveries, for quality, correct labels, amounts and proper packaging.
- Deliver to wholesale accounts, including to the Atlanta area
- Create social media around the wholesale accounts
- Create invoices in QuickBooks and track payments
Other duties will include but not limited to:
- Assist the General Manager with all CH related activities when needed
- Marketing/Looking for new markets/wholesale accounts
- Perform a Quarterly detailed analysis of wholesale sales
- Maintain equipment used for deliveries
Qualifications for this role include:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Effective time management and organization skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
- Driven self-starter with the ability to take on multiple projects
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license
- The ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and on a regular basis
Hours: Monday-Friday, some weekends – approximately 40 hours/week. Some specific hours are required related to farmer and wholesale orders and deliveries, but some flexibility is also required.
Compensation this position is : salaried, varies DOE, $23,000.00 - $28,000.00 Application instructions
