DUTIES

As Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will primarily include assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations and management of the store, along with other assignments as deemed appropriate.

Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to, assistance with the following:

• Personnel administration
• Staff communication (meetings, postings, etc.)
• Staff enhancement, development, & correction
• Inventory control
• Customer service
• Bookkeeping & cash controls
• Housekeeping & store maintenance
• Executing new store projection, processes, or initiatives
• Other operating tasks (opening, closing, etc.)
• Know & Support company philosophy / mission / values
• Know & Support our industry
• Know & Support our customers

This position requires someone who is hands-on and able to motivate and delegate.

• Superior time management skills
• Proven analytical skills
• Understanding of basic P&L and general ledger
• Ability to make hard and fast decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be active and able to be on your feet for extended amounts of time, as well as able to pick up at least 50lbs
