Job description The Cull & Pistol / Lobster Place is seeking a floor manager for our high-volume 50-seat restaurant.

We are looking for someone with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail. The floor manager will work closely with the AGM and peers to educate and train staff as well as execute excellent service in our fast-paced restaurant. The ideal candidate will a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, have a team mentality, and the ability to manage stressful situations with grace.

As a Manager at Cull & Pistol, you will be responsible for:
• All front of house functions in a multi-unit environment
• Supervision of staff and proper restaurant ambiance
• Providing positive leadership to staff
• Constant education of current staff on our menu, wine, beer & cocktails
• Ensuring that guest expectations are met and exceeded and that every experience is a positive one
• Updating and maintaining service documents
• Troubleshooting and resolving any unexpected issues as they arise

We are looking for:
• Extensive service background with a minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management
• A lead by example, hands on mentality
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communications skills
• A professional, enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Strong wine, beer and spirit knowledge
• Strong food and oyster knowledge
• A basic understanding of BOH operations
• Experience with Aloha, Avero, and OpenTable
• Good understanding of Excel and an excellent analysis skills
