Farm Crew Member wanted

Grape Hollow Farm is hiring a part time farm crew member who will assist with production of pastured poultry and diversified crops. Our small team values land stewardship, ethical livestock production, and producing wholesome food for our growing customer base in the local and NYC markets. Located on 47 acres in Holmes, NY, we utilize biodynamic, permaculture, and organic practices. Grape Hollow Farm is looking for someone who is interested and passionate about food and agriculture and can assist in farm duties up to 30 hours/week with flexible work days (Fridays required). Previous experience or strong interest is preferred. The work is fast paced, often physically demanding, and requires initiative, effort, and focus.

Farm duties include:

Livestock care: feeding, watering, moving, observation, egg collecting

Annual crops: planting, watering, cultivating, harvesting, washing & packing

• • Flexible duties based on engagement/interest
  • Previous farm or physically active work experience is preferred
  • Position starting ASAP with flexible end date (Oct/Nov ideal)
  • Starting pay rate: $15/hour

• Fridays are mandatory work days with other days/hours flexible/negotiable.
