Come join us on this new venture. Job description The Kitchen Manager is responsible for inspiring, developing and upholding RELENTLESS standards with all Back of the House team members. The Kitchen Manager will be manage all essential kitchen duties such as: Inventory, Scheduling, Safety, Labor and Waste. The Kitchen Manager will train and develop all team members in cooking methods, food preparation and presentation, waste and labor. The Kitchen Manager will utilize all training tools per RELENTLESS BREWING AND SPIRITS Standard.


As the Kitchen Manager, you will:

  • Ensure all Back of the House Team members are properly trained and following RELENTLESS standard
  • Know and comply with RELENTLESS KITCHEN standard
  • Complete weekly inventory
  • Work with the Staff to control waste and labor for the kitchen
  • Understand how to open and close the kitchen and follows all kitchen station checklists
  • Work closely with the Director Operations and Restaurant Manager in the development of the Back of the House Team members
  • Prepare weekly schedule for the Back of the House

Our Kitchen Managers need to:

  • Possess the highest quality of food standards both in cooking methods and presentation.
  • Stand and/or walk for an entire shift – From bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members
  • Show and provide effective leadership and problem solving skills
  • Provide a strong, detailed orientation to all back of the house team members

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook and expediter.
  • At least 2 years Kitchen manager experience in a similar capacity. High volume experience a must.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, vendors, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests.
  • Be able to lift, reach, bend, stoop and safely lift and easily maneuver items frequently weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
  • Be able to walk and be “on your feet” for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety concepts and practices. Servsafe certification preferred.
  • Must have extensive cost of goods and P&L experience.
  • Must be a dynamic, positive, and charismatic leader.
  • Must adhere to the established appearance guidelines.
  • Microsoft Office (excel) ability preferred.
  • Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.
