Campbell & Co. started out five years ago as Campbell Cheese & Grocery, a family-run neighborhood specialty store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We believe in the power of good food and in sharing it with others. Our focus is on locally-sourced and well-made goods—items that celebrate our community of NYC producers and upstate NY farmers. We love to share the stories of our makers, from the rooftop farmers growing heirloom tomatoes that overlook the Manhattan skyline to the cheesemakers aging provolone below the streets of Brooklyn. The Campbell & Co. kitchen and catering program utilizes the best ingredients from the season to create sandwiches, salads, breakfast biscuits, cheese boards, desserts, and more. Over the years we’ve worked hard to earn a devoted following and are known as much for our warm and friendly customer service as our products (our breakfast biscuits are legendary!).

Job description

We are seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented person to manage the social media and marketing efforts and to increase brand reach and sales. You will work directly with the Owners to develop and execute a marketing plan and content and ensure social content is aligned with the overarching brand identity. The ideal candidate is social media savvy with a clear point of view who is both creative and data-driven. You have experience successfully driving organic growth and engaging an audience. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive our community engagement and amplify the brand at an extremely exciting time for the company.

 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Develop, execute, and analyze social media and digital marketing strategy. Track response and conversion to drive advertising efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Own day-to-day management of all social platforms to ideate and execute timely and targeted daily content
  • Coordinate and create weekly, monthly, and seasonal promotions with graphics.
  • Ensure all creative and product content are complete and accurate before launch.
  • Write and edit copy for all channels (website, social media, email, print).
  • Expand and establish consistent brand voice.
  • Create marketing resources and templates for sales staff and oversee brand consistency.
  • and update website.

 
REQUIREMENTS

  • Friendly and kind with a positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for social media, tech and being part of a growing brand
  • 2+ years social media and marketing experience ·       
  • Ability to manage workflow, problem analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Proven success in growing social media presence for high-profile companies (following and engagement)
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Understanding of branding and positioning strategy.
  • Experience with Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Photography and able to stage photos a plus
  • Passion about local an seasonal food a plus
  • Self-motivated and constantly brainstorming new, creative ideas.
  • Very organized and detail-oriented.
Compensation this position is : hourly, $15/hr + Application instructions
