Job description

We’re looking for a dedicated, highly organized, and entrepreneurial-minded individual to be our Executive Assistant/Office Manager, providing administrative support for our team. Our ideal hire will have had some experience providing C-level support within a startup along with a strong passion for food and triple bottom line business. The Executive Assistant/Office Manager will be responsible for everything from helping us set up data management software to scheduling travel and meetings as well as the coordination of various administrative projects as they arise. The individual in this role must possess a strong sense of organization and resourcefulness while handling matters in a timely manner.  Our Executive Assistant/Office Manager will be the connector of many parts of the business and applicants should thrive in this type of position.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with office setup and organization – including ongoing inventory and ordering of office supplies and organization of work stations
  • Manage the office, office supplies, and general day-to-day administrative duties
  • Responsible for software systems data entry including sales, inventory management, and some bookkeeping
  • Set up, manage, and run payroll
  • Answer incoming phone calls and manage the distribution of all general inbound email requests
  • Proactively manage executive staff members’ calendars with strong attention to accuracy and detail and ensure they are at the right place at the right time
  • Book transportation, travel, and hotels; create and organize itinerary and materials for staff member travel
  • Organize administrative and event materials for pop-ups and events
  • Manage expense reporting on behalf of the executive staff
  • Plan and attend select meetings, take notes, prioritize takeaways, and follow-ups
  • Help with all aspects of administrative and office-related operations
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in an office setting, preferably for an early stage startup
  • Timely and accessible
  • Must have discretion and sensitivity toward confidential information
  • Have keen attention for detail, especially when it comes to written communications, scheduling, and projects
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while remaining composed under pressure
  • Willingness to support the business at varying levels

This is a full-time position with benefits. Compensation this position is : hourly, $15/hr + Application instructions
