About Cream Co.

Cream Co. is redefining the meat industry through direct, farmer-centric sourcing and artisanal in-house butchery. As the only federally inspected meat company in the inner Bay Area to exclusively source antibiotic and hormone-free meats, we create dynamic supply chains that connect chefs, butchers, and food-service providers to sustainable and regenerative ranches on the West Coast and beyond. About the Role

We are looking for a skilled butcher passionate about sustainable and regeneratively raised meats. This talented individual will establish and grow our production butchery team to match Cream Co.’s drive and projected scale. This role requires a skilled individual, adept at:

  • quickly preparing grind blocks with the proper raw materials for the desired taste, texture and fat content
  • cutting artisan-quality restaurant portioned steaks
  • large scale meat preparation 

This role will direct all of Cream Co.’s butchery operations, requiring both skill and leadership to execute on the specifications and volumes for our highly cultivated and Michelin-rated customer base.


About You

The ideal candidate would:

  • have experience leading a team of motivated butchers in a USDA production environment
  • be skilled at directing team members on several butchery projects simultaneously
  • be motivated and passionate about developing and perfecting both production and artisan cut specifications for Cream Co.
  • be highly proficient with a knife, able to cut both beautiful steaks from our highly sought-after animals, as well as preparing larger subprimals for grinding or further processing
  • be confident under pressure, inquisitive, but also spirited in their drive for perfecting the standards that are known as top-quality throughout the marketplace
  • preferably speak fluent Spanish and English
