EVENT & HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR Apricot Lane Farms

Applicant will handle a variety of tasks from filing, to errand running, to assisting with farm events. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with minimal oversight while also functioning well in a team environment; able to remain focused while sharing a busy office space; highly organized and enthusiastic as well as creative in his/her approach to problem-solving and attention to detail. This is a fast paced, self motivated, multitasking position.

NOTE: EVENT COORDINATION EBBS AND FLOWS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR; THIS POSITION IS HEAVY ON HOSPITALITY, MAINTENANCE OVERSIGHT OF FACILITIES, AND ADMIN. DUTIES.

Job Description Principal Accountabilities including but not limited to:

• Direct and run Event Team
• Create and execute events from beginning to end
• Coordinate vendors 
• Execute onsite coordination during events
• Coordinate and execute all public and private tours
• Oversee and run guest and hospitality visits and relations
• Housekeeping tasks
• Administrative tasks
• Coordinate and produce farm relations baskets
• Work closely with other team leads to create smooth events, guest visits, and public outreach

Requirements:
• Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends throughout the year, including monthly weekend public farm tours, and with 3 weeks in April and 2 weeks over Thanksgiving a must- including Thanksgiving day. 

• Can-do attitude, often with fast paced timelines
• Ability to execute on the fly direction and adjust quickly to changes
• Ability to think creatively, self-motivate and solve problems with no direction at times
• Ability to comfortably execute and delegate directions to a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Strong service orientation to internal and external customers
• Comfortable working on a mac

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. - Physical work involved
• Ability and willingness to walk 2+ miles a day on a hilly terrain
• Minimum 5 years event experience
