Company description Applicant will work closely with our Event and Hospitality Coordinator to help create and execute farm events as well as assist in tasks such as administrative assistance,
coordination, set up and tear down, and general hospitality needs. If you are a go-getter and thrive working in a unique environment, you are probably a great fit for our team!

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with minimal oversight while also functioning well in a team environment; able to remain focused while sharing a busy office space; able to take and execute direction; highly organized and enthusiastic as well as creative in his/her approach to problem-solving and attention to detail. This is a fast paced, self motivated, multitasking position. Event experience a must. Job description Principal Accountabilities including but not limited to:

• Assist Event & Hospitality Coordinator 
• Coordinate vendors and monitor progress
• Guest coordination and farm representation
• Execute onsite coordination during events when needed
• Housekeeping tasks
• Administrative tasks such as filing and computer work
• Gift Baskets
• Coordinate and work with other farm departments when
needed
• Assisting Event Coordinator with farm events and guest services
• Set up, tear down and execute events


Requirements:
• Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends throughout the year, with
3 weeks in April and 2 weeks over Thanksgiving a must- including Thanksgiving day
• Comfortable working on a mac
• Creative Thinker a plus
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. - Physical work involved
• Can-do attitude, often with fast paced timelines
• Ability to execute on the fly direction and adjust quickly to changes
• Ability to self-motivate and solve problems with little direction at times
• Ability to comfortably execute and delegate directions to a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Strong service orientation to internal and external customers
• Ability and willingness to walk 2+ miles a day on a hilly terrain
• Minimum 3 years event experience 


Job Type: Full-time Compensation this position is : hourly, varies DOE, $23.00 - $26.00 Application instructions
