LOLIWARE's products harness LIST (LOLIWARE Intelligent Seaweed Technologies) to create single use items designed to disappear.  LOLIWARE is poised to completely replace single-use plastics beginning with the launch of the company’s new seaweed-based straw. LOLIWARE’s Straw, The Straw of the Future, looks, feels and acts like plastic, but is made from 100% food grade materials.  It is designed to disappear either through composting or natural processes. Job description Loliware NPI Lab in Beacon NY is hiring operators and a Team Leader for a newly launched production cell.
 

Key responsibilities

As the Production Operator, you’ll form and condition environmentally friendly food grade material using industrial equipment and play a key role in maintaining the quality of finished product and packaging appearances while keeping the line running efficiently. You’ll do this by making sure the equipment is set up, maintained, and running efficiently and documenting production and defects along the way. Part of your job will include handling and moving powder and liquid materials, cleaning and washing production equipment and facility.
 

Qualifications and skills

Food Processing and/or Science Lab experience is preferred but not required.

 

There are a few requirements you’ll need to be safe and successful in this job:

  • Are you able to stand for extended periods of time?
  • Are you comfortable learning new processes and machinery with written and/or verbal procedures or instructions? This means continually growing your skills and knowledge.
  • Do you have experience working alongside a team and operating machines in a manufacturing environment? The safety of our team and products are our top priority, so we prefer some experience but are happy to train you too.
