It started with a group of mates. All hailing from the beer scene, these guys wanted to brew an awesome hop-driven American Pale Ale with a distinctive aroma and delicious flavor. And so it began, the birth of Little Creatures.
The performance of Little Creatures so far is a direct reflection of our people and our love for beer and our customers, and as a result of getting this right, we have opened breweries and venues in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and currently London. Next stop is San Francisco and we want you to be a part of it!
• Continuously improve the safety and wellbeing of our people and our business
• Train and maintain food safety procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations for the production, storage, and service of food
• Monitor the food safety program and provide timely feedback to direct reports.
• Ensure all equipment and substances are used and maintained in a safe condition, including monthly review of the preventative maintenance schedule.
Quality
• Responsible for maintaining continued improved quality control, including incoming raw materials, disciplined food production and strong process controls on outgoing food items.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure department adheres to organizational standards, kitchen cleanliness, hygiene standards, food handling, and storage standards.
Culture
• Improvement in site team member engagement drivers and overall talent management.
• Maintain open communication with Brand, Marketing and brewery supporting and interacting to build trusting relationships
• Provide supervision, instruction and technical training to ensure team members have the knowledge and skills required to undertake their work duties professionally and safely to minimize risk.
Excellence
• Responsible for detailed food management, using tools to analyze consumer behaviors, forecasting stock control, product pricing.
• Provides overall strategic thought leadership and input directly at a site level
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging trends to produce products that impact business opportunity through research, development and technical excellence.
Value
• Responsible for delivering site training and people development
• Menu evolution and product development
• Deliver on hospitality growth and customer engagement across the site
Experience:
• 2- 4 years working on a high-volume kitchen team
• A broad and in-depth understanding of hospitality including local and industry trends, key suppliers and customers
• Regulatory and legal compliance knowledge and understanding of implications to the business
• Detailed knowledge in the financial management of food operations, managing budgets, wage costs forecasting, sales analysis, and reporting
• Proven ability to motivate and inspire people at all levels to build a high achieving team
• Cross-functional agility and can easily work with other key stakeholders and departments to influence outcomes
• Strong management skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams
