We are looking for a progressive-minded, uniquely talented individual to work with us as our Event Planner.  In addition to overseeing our general entertainment and events schedule for the brewery and/or our other public facilities, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced event planner to work with a driven team to execute both private and corporate events in most friendly and memorable environment possible. As the Tree House Event Planner, you will be responsible for the following:

 
  • Assisting Tree House in the creation of a robust private events program including different event options/offerings, pricing options, contracts and SOP’s
  • Building a consistent live music and events calendar for the brewery that is appropriate for the business flow and feel of each day
  • Booking both corporate and private events and working intimately with those clients ensuring all needs are met if not exceeded  
  • Build an Events Team for each event, working with leadership in both team selection and scheduling conflicts/needs
  • Coordinating all pre-event details with all internal necessary parties communicating any necessary print collateral or marketing materials, equipment needs, special order approvals, and/or any other event needs
  • Vendor bids, selection and management
  • Scheduling necessary meetings with clients including tastings, pre-space set up options, and other meetings as required
  • Event space set-up in terms of flow, tabletop layout, settings, decor, service stations etc.
  • Working with Events Team to complete set-up, execution and breakdown for all events
  • Overseeing service staff during set-up, service and breakdown of events to ensure a superior guest experience
  • Assisting with planning and executing the sequence and timing of service during events
  • Assisting in orientation, training and development of new Events Team members
  • Responsible for exceptional guest satisfaction during events, i.e., greeting guests, seating, identifying VIP’s and expediting special requests
  • Any and all other duties as assigned


 

Applicant Requirements:

 
  • At least 1-3 years managing and planning both small and large scale events ranging from private functions to corporate events
  • At least 3-5 years working catered, private, or corporate events
  • Proven track record of live entertainment selection and an understanding of the Tree House vibe
  • Experience in planning festivals and high profile guest gatherings a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills- including the ability to be both thoughtful and succinct in communicating and an active listener
  • You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hard working attitude
  • A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Passion and desire to continuously self assess and improve  
  • Ability to multitask and work lucidly in a time sensitive environment
  • You are not afraid to speak your mind
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and common sense with the ability to pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions needed
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work early, long hours with flexibility and the ability to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary to ensure successful event set up, execution, and break down
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push 150 lbs and perform the physical requirements of the job
  • Must be able to bend, lift, reach, and stand on your feet for many hours
