Retail Operations Manager Red Apple Farm

  • Date Posted June 10, 2019
  • Location Boston, MA
  • Category Agriculture / Culinary
  • Job type Full-Time
Company description We are a 100-year-old, fourth generation, family farm located in Phillipston, MA. Whether it's on the historic farm, or in the city at our Boston Public Market location, we offer an authentic, New England, family farm experience to our visitors.

In addition to growing apples, peaches, blueberries, raspberries, pumpkins, and potatoes, we also serve all sorts of classic New England fare such as fresh apple cider donuts, apple crisp, apple turnovers, homemade fudge, locally grown popcorn, and locally made jams, jellies, sauces and more! At our Boston stand, we interact with thousands of customers - both tourists and locals.

We strive to balance the old and the new by constantly growing and adapting to fit with current trends, while staying true to our company's family farm values and traditions. Our new Brew Barn in Phillipston and our Cider Bar in Boston are two examples of this, and we're always open to new ideas.

We encourage all staff to stay connected to our farm location as well, offering frequent opportunities to make a trip out to Phillipston to work a "farm shift" or just to spend a day picking and getting to know the farm staff.  Working for Red Apple Farm, even in Boston, means joining our growing "farmily." If this sounds like an experience you would enjoy and contribute to, we would love to meet you! Job description
