Each Peach Market is an independent neighborhood grocery store and Pear Plum Cafe is our sister coffee shop, events, space and retail shop. We are committed to high quality food, much of it sourced from local farms and local artisanal producers. We sell a full range of grocery items, produce, meat, dairy, dry goods, cured meats and cheeses, wine and beer, and make sandwiches to order and many other prepared foods in-house. We have recently expanded our breakfast, lunch, and party catering. Our cafe provides high quality coffee, house-made pastries, and a full bar. We host tasting events, classes, dinners and private parties. The Catering and Events Manager will be a senior level management position that will oversee catering and events off site from Each Peach and onsite at Pear Plum Cafe.

Customer Facing Catering Coordination

• Manages Catering@Eachpeachmarket.com email address
• Receives and respond to all queries for catering
• With Kitchen Production Manager, GM and owners, crafts price and quantity estimates for customers
• With Kitchen Production Manager, ensures all catering orders are delivered to client in a timely manner and in accordance with our quality and customer service standards
• Interfaces with customers to tailor orders to their needs and in accordance with our policies
• Maintains and updates the catering menu with marketing lead, GM and owners
• Develops and maintains signage for catering orders
• Develops and maintains disposable and reusable supplies for catering
• Manages and updates the catering calendar
• Develops relationships with existing and new customers
• Develops and executes on marketing strategies to increase catering clientele

Event Planning and Coordination

• Maintains monthly calendar of public events at Pear Plum Cafe w/ Owners & Managers, in a bi-montly planning cycle. Ongoing calendar events include:
  • Classes
  • Monthly product tasting
  • Dinners
  • Guest bartenders and chefs
• Manages private events program w/ Owners & Managers
  • Drives dialogue between potential clients
  • Helps spread the word of our offerings
  • Crafts price, quantity, and decor estimates for potential clients

• Works with Pear Plum staff to manage and execute events of all kinds:
  • Including working with marketing staff to make sure website calendar is updated, tickets are online, and social media and in-store strategy is in place
  • Preparing run of show documents for the actual events
  • Making sure events run seamlessly and clients are happy
