Job description
The Front of House Manager position at Butcher & Bee is a service manager position, focused on floor and shift management, and training and development of our team, especially new hires. A knowledge of beverages, including spirits and wine, and the ability to educate the FOH team about beverage service is required.
The right candidate should have a natural and easy persona on the floor, and be able to interact with guests professionally but in a fun, unstuffy manner.
Background should include serving experience at a top-notch restaurant as well as hosting, server assisant, and bussing experience earlier in your career. Bartending experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Same for BOH experience.
A typical week will have you working five shifts lasting 10-11 hours each, a mix of opening and closing shifts. We are happy to work around family or personal needs for the right candidate where it comes to schedule, but this is a position requires commitent on weekends and holidays.
We expect you to have a strong command of restaurant service, a natural inclination towards hospitality, patience for working and training new hires, and an interest in and curiosity about food and beverage.
Compensation
this position is : salaried, varies DOE, $40,000.00 - $48,000.00
