The Savanna Institute invites applications for an Associate Director. We seek applicants who share our passion for restorative and resilient agriculture, with a preference for applicants who bring experience in agroforestry research or education; management of non-profit operations and personnel; or equivalent experience. This position will lead an array of organizational development, management, and fundraising roles. This is a new position that will report to the co-Executive Directors.
 

Job Description

Hours: Full-time

Location: Madison, WI or nearby

Start Date: August 1, 2019, flexible

Rate of Pay: Commensurate with experience

 

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in agroforestry, forestry, grazing, or other perennial agricultural practice
  • Experience in a non-profit leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
