The Culinary Operations Coordinator will provide support to the food & beverage team on all company related culinary initiatives including, but not limited to:

  • Food & Beverage Tastings – coordination, planning and execution of food & beverage tastings.
  • Menu Development and Implementations – coordination, planning and execution, including:
  • COGS Management – recipe costing and projections
  • Equipment testing and evaluation - explore and test new cooking equipment to ensure we are using the best possible and most efficient, cost effective cooking technology.
  • Recipes/Training Materials – development of training materials and standardized recipes for distribution to the field.
  • Sourcing and Supply Chain – review and approve new ingredients to ensure they meet are quality standards
  • Nutrition/Allergen information – submit recipes to laboratory for analysis
  • Marketing Support – marketing briefs, photoshoots, focus groups, social media
  • Training Support – preparation and execution of field training sessions
  • Quality Control - engage with all levels of the organization to ensure compliance with culinary standards.  Inspects raw and finished products at the restaurants and commissaries for spec and menu adherence.  Shelf testing of ingredients/menu items as needed.   
  • Sourcing and Supply - Collaborate with the purchasing team to source and improve the quality of our products that are in line with our mission and vision. 
  • Coordinate and manage culinary partnerships. 
  • Recipe Management - Responsible for maintaining and updating recipe database.
  • External Events – culinary support on all 3rd party events, including planning, preparation and on-site execution when necessary.  Provide support to the field for events facilitated by restaurants.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Culinary degree, or extensive restaurant/foodservice experience required.  Must be detail oriented, organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be hard working and passionate about the food & beverage industry.

 

 

Compensation this position is : salaried, varies DOE, $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 Application instructions
