Job description

The Innovation and Strategy Associate/Wizard/ whatever you would like to call yourself is responsible for providing administrative, logistical and programmatic support to the founder and CEO. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to get experience in food systems. This position is full-time and time can be split between Washington, DC and Northern Virginia depending on the needs of the candidate.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative, operational, and / or analytical duties as assigned.
  • Support founder around strategic planning and program execution.
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports.
  • Acts as point of contact for employees and external partners.
  • Perform general administrative functions to meet personnel and payroll cycles or other initiatives.
 

Job Requirements

  • Passion for equitable food systems
  • Proficient with applications including Word, Excel, and with filing documents.
  • Ability to multi - task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and communication skills
  • Adaptable to the changing needs of a startup company
  • Sense of humor and enthusiasm for food puns
